Demko Knives AD 20.5 - Black Grivory Handle / Black DLC Clip Point Blade / Aus10A Steel

Sold Out

The All New AD20.5 by Demko Knives features the all new Shark-Lock™. The Shark Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like ‘fin.’ Opening the blade makes the spring-driven lock arm move up and then into a notch in the tang, situating it beneath a lock pin. It’s unique in that the locking mechanism moves forward and back while also moving up and down. This allows for a greater sized blade tang, making a better mechanical advantage in a specific area. And because the drive spring that moves the locking element up into the locked position is contained within the locking arm itself, it won’t be subject to dirt and grime.

Great EDC knife

Great edc knife for med to large hands, easy opening action out of the box. The closed knife although long than 4.3 inches is not a bother to carry it’s barely noticeable due to its slim profile under .43 inches. Lock up is perfect thanks to the unique “shark lock”. The handles are not cheap like some reviewers comment on yes they are frn like but strong and grippy like most frn’s. The blade is AUS 10 the Japanese version close to D2 but I have no complaints. it is not a lesser steel, sharpens well hold a strong edge. The only issue for me is the finger flip tab spring is a bit tight and the jumping roughness can be easily modified with a sand dremel tool To me this is must carry edc knife
