Brand new for 2018 is the Benchmade 417 or also known as the "Fact". This knife checks all the boxes. Lightweight, great blade length, easy to carry and just plain old sexy. The blade is a CPM-S30V spear point that is just shy of 4 inches long. The skeletonized anodized aluminum handles make this knife super lightweight coming in at 3.25 ounces. A deep carry pocket clip rounds this knife out for a discrete everyday carry tool.
This version of the 417BK is a Northwest Knives custom knife with a red Cerakote coated spear point blade in CPM-S30V, red Cerakote coated liners and a black aluminum handle. This coating is extremely durable and done by SRG Armament in Nampa, ID.
*Warranty: This Red Cerakote coating will effect the warranty from Benchmade ONLY on the blades. All other parts of the warranty will still be intact.
**Disclaimer: Due to the cerakoting process done on there blade, the action on this knife will be slightly more stiffer than normal.
