The blade is a CPM-S30V spear point that is just shy of 4 inches long. The skeletonized anodized aluminum handles make this knife super lightweight coming in at 3.25 ounces. A deep carry pocket clip rounds this knife out for a discrete everyday carry tool.
This version of the 417BK is a Northwest Knives custom knife with a black spear point blade in CPM-S30V and a cerakote sea blue aluminum handle. This coating is extremely durable and done by SRG Armament in Nampa, ID.
**Warranty: This Sea Blue Cerakote coating will effect the warranty from Benchmade ONLY on the handle scales. All other parts of the warranty will still be intact.

I'm very impressed with this knife largely because the cerakote and color was done very well. Photos don't do this knife justice. It's a darker blue than it appears in the photos. It's so nice it's like an exclusive or limited edition.
