Spyderco Dyad Jr Slipjoint SPRINT RUN - Blue FRN Handle Handle / CPM-SPY27 Steel / Sheepsfoot & Clip Point Blade C39P&SCBL
Description:
Originally introduced in 1999, the Dyad Jr. Lightweight builds on the twin-bladed versatility of its predecessors by featuring fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle scales. This unique Sprint Run version not only revives the classic design but also enhances it with Spyderco’s proprietary blade steel, CPM SPY27, along with the benefits of screw-together construction.
The knife includes two satin-finished blades: a saber-ground SpyderEdge sheepfoot blade and a full-flat-ground PlainEdge clip-point blade. Together, these blades offer over four inches of cutting capability, making them suitable for everything from tough, fibrous materials to detailed cutting tasks. Both blades have Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole for easy one or two-handed opening, and they lock securely through a distinctive “bypass” design that features two independent back lock mechanisms with matching relief cuts.
The scales are injection molded in a striking cobalt blue, one of the signature colors of Spyderco’s elite CPM SPY27 family, and feature a traditional Volcano Grip texture pattern for a secure, non-slip hold. A remarkable revival of a true Spyderco classic, the Dyad Jr. Lightweight is designed for in-pocket carry and does not include a clip.
