Free Shipping
Orders over $49 ship free within the United States. Orders under $49 ship for a flat $3.99 rate.
Fast Processing
Most orders placed before 12 PM Mountain Time Tuesday through Saturday ship the same day.
Signature Required
Orders over $350 are normally shipped with signature confirmation for added delivery security.
Shipping Rates
- Orders over $49 qualify for free standard shipping within the United States.
- Orders under $49 ship for a flat rate of $3.99.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
- Available shipping options may vary based on the items ordered, destination, order value, and carrier restrictions.
Northwest Knives currently ships within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Order Processing & Shipping Schedule
We ship orders Tuesday through Saturday from our store in Meridian, Idaho. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
- Most orders placed before 12 PM Mountain Time Tuesday through Saturday ship the same day.
- Orders placed after 12 PM Mountain Time may ship the same day or the next shipping day, depending on order volume.
- Orders placed Sunday, Monday, or on store holidays will be processed on the next available shipping day.
- Once an order has been packed or shipped, we may not be able to make changes or cancel the order.
We do everything we can to get orders out quickly, but processing times may vary during holidays, high-volume sale periods, weather events, or carrier disruptions.
Carriers & Delivery Times
Northwest Knives ships using USPS and UPS. The carrier used for your order may depend on the item purchased, shipping address, order value, selected shipping service, and any legal or carrier restrictions.
- Carrier delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed by Northwest Knives.
- Carrier delays, weather delays, incorrect routing, or delivery disruptions are outside of our control.
- Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.
- If tracking shows movement or delivery delay, the carrier may need additional time to complete delivery.
Delivery Confirmation & Porch Theft
Please make sure your order is shipped to a safe and secure delivery location. Once tracking shows that a package has been delivered, Northwest Knives is no longer responsible for theft, loss, or damage that occurs after delivery.
Many carriers now provide delivery scans or photo confirmation. If a package is marked delivered but is missing, please check around your property, with household members, neighbors, building offices, parcel lockers, or the carrier. If you believe the package was stolen after delivery, we recommend filing a report with the carrier and your local authorities.
For high-value orders or addresses with delivery concerns, we recommend using a secure delivery address where someone is available to receive the package.
Signature Required Orders
Signature confirmation is our standard practice on orders over $350. This helps protect both the customer and Northwest Knives by reducing the risk of lost or stolen high-value packages.
If you prefer to waive the signature requirement, please contact us before your order ships. If we are able to remove the signature requirement at your request, you accept full responsibility for the package once it is marked delivered by the carrier.
Automatic Knife Shipping
Automatic knives are shipped by UPS unless an approved upgraded shipping method is selected. We do not ship automatic knives through USPS.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to know and follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws before purchasing an automatic knife or any other restricted knife. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally allowed to purchase, own, and receive the item in your location.
Incorrect Addresses, Returned Packages & Undeliverable Orders
Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order. Northwest Knives is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.
- If an order has not shipped yet, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to update the address.
- If an order has already shipped, we may not be able to change the delivery address.
- If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or carrier issue, additional shipping charges may apply to reship the order.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable on returned or undeliverable packages.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package appears lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible at info@northwestknives.com or call (208) 884-8626.
- For damaged shipments, please keep all packaging materials and take clear photos of the box, packing materials, and item.
- Carrier investigations may be required before a replacement, refund, or claim resolution can be completed.
- If tracking shows a package was delivered, the order is considered delivered and is subject to our delivery confirmation policy.
