Returns/Cancellation Policy
Sezzle Cancellations & Refunds:
All Sezzle Orders that are canceled or refunded will incur a 6% fee (unless Store Credit is chosen).
These payment plans charge fees that are nonrefundable. We pay the fee either way so please understand this is non-negotiable. If you choose a store credit instead of cancellation and refund we will waive the 6% fee.
Cancellation Policy:
Orders can be cancelled prior to shipping. Once an item has shipped and picked up by the carrier we are no longer able to cancel the order and a return must be initiated.
- Cancellations can me made via email at info@northwestknives.com or by calling us directly at (208)884-8626 Tue - Sat 10am to 6pm. Please be aware that emails are not always seen right away and can result in an item shipping before cancellation.
Initiate a Return online - You must have an account and be logged in
- Login to your account and Click the "Return" Option next to your order
- If you do not have an account or checked out as a "Guest" then we can manually add your order to your account once it is created by you.
- Click "Forgot Password" if you cannot get logged in
Initiate a Return manually - By email or phone call
- E-mail info@northwestknives.com and request a return. Please provide name and order number for quick processing
- Call us at (208)884-8626 and ask for a return authorization via phone. We will create a return and help process it.
Returns:
Orders are eligible for a Refund or Store Credit minus the cost of original Shipping Fees, within 14 days of order delivery date as long as the item is in new, unused, and uncarried condition with original packaging undamaged. Items can be returned within 30 days from original order delivery date for Store Credit only.
- Preowned Sales can be returned for Store Credit Only
- Custom and MidTech items are Subject to a 10% Restock Fee, unless Store Credit is chosen.
- Returns Requests will only be accepted within 14 Days from date of delivery of your order
- Returns must be received by Northwest Knives within 10 Days of being issued a Return Authorization Confirmation
- If you prefer a REFUND, we will credit your original card payment, minus the cost of Paid Shipping Fees by you. If you choose STORE CREDIT, you will receive the full amount of the Return
- Habitual Returns will be subject to a 10% Restock Fee (Example: More than 2 returns in 30 days)
Exchanges:
If you prefer an exchange vs a refund we can facilitate that as well. You will be responsible for return shipping to Northwest Knives and we will cover the shipping on the replacement product to you.
Return Shipping Fees:
Northwest Knives does not pay return shipping fees for any reason other than if we make a mistake and ship you the wrong item.
If you would like a discounted rate return label we can provide one for you and the cost of the label will be deducted from your return refund. This label will be emailed directly to you and is a deep discount from normal over the counter shipping rates.
You are responsible for all return shipping if you decide that the item you purchased is not for you, or does not meet your expectations for blade sharpness, blade centering, blade grinds, color variance, fit/finish, manufactures blemish or the blade steel received differs from what is pictured or listed in the item description.
If an item is actually defective, you will be responsible for shipping the item back to us and we will cover the cost for Replacement Shipping back to you.
- We recommend you insure the return package as Northwest Knives is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
- All original Manufacturers Packaging must be included and undamaged. If anything is missing or damaged, we will return the item to you at your cost.
- Please include the original packing slip, or include your name, order number, and instructions on refund preference
- If we ship your package to you in a box, we ask that you return the package to us in a box. Please do not ship items back to us in an Envelope.
- Please do NOT attach a Return Shipping label directly to any Manufacturers Packaging, as you will receive the item back to you.
- Please do NOT send items back to us without a Return Authorization, as your return will not be processed and it will be sent back to you.
