Hogue Knives X1 Microflip - Grey Matte Aluminum Handle / CPM-154 Blade 24172
Hogue Knives X1 Microflip - Grey Matte Aluminum Handle / CPM-154 Blade 24172
The Microflip from Hogue features a sturdy button lock mechanism and a patent-pending blade retention device. This unique tool holds the blade in the closed position, allowing the user to build up kinetic energy that can be used to open the blade. With a simple press of the lock button, the knife can be easily closed with one hand, without risking fingers getting in the way of the closing blade, as with standard liner lock flippers. The knife doesn't contain any springs, but it operates much like an automatic knife. Designed as an everyday carry pocket knife, the X1-Microflip is the first knife in the Hogue line with a blade measuring under three inches. The 2.75" drop point blade comes with a stonewash tumbled or black Cerakote finish. Made from 0.120" thick steel, the blade offers superior corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention. It is cryogenically heat treated to 57-59HRC and then hand sharpened and honed. The Type III hard-coat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum frame is sculpted for an ergonomic grip and comfortable one-handed deployment. The frame is patterned with an escalating indent texture for additional grip and includes a pointed impact pommel. Models are available in matte finished black, gray, flat dark earth, or aquamarine. The frame includes a reversible clip and filler plate for ambidextrous tip-up carrying.
