This hand finished full tang knife is made from precision ground, heat treated and cryogenically tempered CPM S35VN. The razor sharp edge is then leather honed to easily slice through fish with the utmost control and ease. The new tough G10 handle creates a strong positive no slip hand purchase in wet and even slimy conditions.
The step up design affords excellent visibility of blade location for precise filleting and also provides extra knuckle clearance for very thin filleting.

The blade is sharp. The handle is beautiful & practical. The overall shape is just right. Unfortunately, the blade is extremely stiff. This is more a boning knife than a fillet knife. It does not flex at all. I thought this would be my favorite fillet knife. Instead, I was very disappointed with the knife. I don’t know that I’ll find a use for it. I certainly can’t use it for fishing as I had planned.

Not cheap but extremely well made. I use fillet knives for everything from fish to deer to every day in the kitchen. Impressed with the build and sheath.
