Marble’s versions of the woodcraft mostly included stacked leather handles and metal bolsters. Neither of those features are seen on TOPS’ usually. So, Leo’s way of mimicking the look was to use two different colors of Micarta and inset one piece into the other. The TOPS version also includes Midnight Bronze Cerakote as a great compliment to the handle. The sheath was designed to match with the old-school “cowboy” sheaths that had leather cover most of the handle to protect the knife from getting scratched up or snagging while going through thick brush.
The dimensions and design are as close to the Marble’s version as possible but bring this knife new life. Still a classic design that is great for hunting, camping, and of course, Woodcraft chores.
