When Benchmade released the Shootout, it created a lot of excitement in the knife world. This EDC (Everyday Carry) out-the-front knife features a more practical drop point blade, making it suitable for everyday use. It retains the double-action mechanism for easy use and has a Grivory handle with textured grip for better control. The updated 5371 model replaces the lanyard loop with a glass breaker, making it a serious EDC option.

Stiff

I like the knife. This is my first OTF. Blade has a little wiggle but less than I thought it would have. The con is the slide trigger is stiff and could use some loosening up.
It is a nice size and love the weight. Over all I’m satisfied.

Great Knife

While I haven't owned it long, I am very much enjoying this knife. Extremely quick and smooth transition. The knife is incredibly sharp out of the box and the whole setup is very light, however, the handle is very grippy and lends itself to a very stable operation.
