View full detailsThe Hogue Deka quickly became my go to folder in my lineup. The compound grind on the modified Wharncliffe blade is like having 3 blades in 1. The bar lock is snappy and locks up tight. The handle scales look and feel great. The deep carry clip is adequate. Buy one
The Wharncliffe blade is very sharp and has a practical shape. The fine point serves for good precision work. The 20CV steel is the cat‘s meow!!
But the opening takes a bit of getting used to due to the position of the thumb stub. Also, the locking mechanism is not as smooth as I would have expected for a knife in this price point. Added finishing on the parts in the mechanism and the scales/screws would make this a true top-notch knife.
