Big bad American Tanto

This is my third Hogue fixed blade and I’m still impressed. I’m a sucker for the American tanto shape to begin with. The handle contours are nicely done. The edges on the steel handles are rounded and easy on the hands. This is a large knife. The factory edge they put on their fixed blades is very good. The knife has a physical retention system built into the sheath / knife. You are required to slide a lever under the opening mouth to the sheath to access the knife. Not sure how I feel about the retention system yet. It also comes with a snap strap to add even more retention. For the money, Houge fixed blades are a good buy.
