The Salt® 2 combines the best features of the renowned Delica® 4 Lightweight model with the exceptional corrosion resistance of H-2 steel. It includes improved ergonomics, a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern on the handle, a robust back lock mechanism, and a black-coated titanium pocket clip. This clip supports both left or right-side carry and can be positioned for tip-up or tip-down use. Unlike the Delica 4, which has stainless steel liners in the handle, the Salt® 2 features a linerless handle made from two pieces of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). It is equipped with four sets of threaded stainless steel inserts to accommodate its four-position clip. Additionally, all other metal components on the Salt® 2 are made from special marine-grade alloys that are also black-coated for enhanced corrosion resistance. At the core of the knife is its ultra-corrosion-resistant H-2 blade, which is hollow-ground and available in both PlainEdge™ and fully serrated SpyderEdge™ configurations.
