When the TOPS El Chete was released in 2017, it quickly became a top-selling model. The blade's functionality and aesthetic appealed to many in the knife community. The idea for the Mini version came about after creating wooden Christmas ornaments that were scaled-down versions of full-sized blades. Some of those ornaments seemed perfect for turning into knives, prompting TOPS to move forward with the production of miniatures.
Measuring 8.75 inches overall, the El Chete Mini is only considered "mini" compared to the original. It features a 5.50-inch blade with the same distinctive shape that made the original popular. The blade comes in a striking Midnight Bronze finish, and it is complemented by green canvas Micarta handles. The included Kydex sheath makes this knife easy to carry as an everyday carry (EDC) option on your hip, and you'll find yourself wanting to show it off once you have it in hand.
