The Manix 2 combines full-size, high-performance cutting capabilities with the numerous advantages of Spyderco's Ball Bearing Lock mechanism. This innovative lock provides exceptional strength and smooth operation, making every aspect of its design completely ambidextrous and symmetrical. The Manix 2 is now available with Spyderco's proprietary CPM-SPY27 steel, which is a powder-metallurgy version of VG-10. SPY27 steel offers a superior balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance to the full-flat-ground blade. The knife retains all the standard features of the Manix 2, except for its peel-ply-textured G10 scales, which highlight the distinctive cobalt-blue color of the SPY27 family.
