The lightweight Sage 5 boasts injection-molded FRN scales with a Bi-Directional Texture pattern to provide a non-slip grip. It also incorporates nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, and a full-flat-ground CPM-REX121 blade. Weighing 13 percent less than the standard Sage 5, the lightweight version also features a special bushing that ensures precise pivot tensioning and delivers an ultra-smooth action.
