Tops Frog Market Special XL Fixed Blade - 1095 Steel / Green Canvas Micarta Handle / Black Kydex Sheath

The Frog Market Special XL is a knife designed by Steven Dick during his trip to Vietnam. He observed butchers and fishmongers using knives with a unique pattern that made it easy for them to prepare different types of meats and fish.

The original Frog Market Special was the first design based on those knives. The XL version of this knife has all the features and functions of the original design, but with additional length and weight. Many TOPS users have this knife in their kitchen or camp kit, and some even carry it as an EDC knife.

The blade of the Frog Market Special XL is made of 3/32” thick 1095 steel. It has comfortable and thick green canvas Micarta handles that keep their grip even when wet. Additionally, it comes with a Kydex sheath for storage, especially for those who venture outside of the kitchen with it. Whether you're slicing, dicing, or chopping meat and veggies, this blade will make food prep easy.
