The Tex Creek wildlife management area, which includes two national forests, is just around 10 miles from the TOPS facility. It has a wide variety of wildlife, open ranges, mountains, waterways, and forests, making it a great place for hunting and fishing for animals like elk, bear, mountain lion, wolf, moose, pheasant, turkey, quail, rabbit, duck, goose, steelhead, and salmon.

The Tex Creek area's proximity to the TOPS facility allows our designers and makers to test our knives and tools in their own environment. Many of their staff members grew up in this area, giving them plenty of opportunity to test our products in tough conditions. The "Tex Creek Hunter" is a great example of this, as it's a high-quality work knife that looks good too.

This knife has darkened Micarta scales screwed onto the handle, with a large cord holder at the back for added convenience. The handles are designed for a strong grip during extended use. The simple and practical design is supported by a sturdy 3/16" thick blade and a full tang handle, making it a reliable tool for various outdoor tasks.
