Benchmade 495 Vector Flipper - Assisted Opening

Benchmade 495 Vector Flipper - Assisted Opening

Sold Out

The New for 2018 is the Benchmade 495 Vector AXIS lock flipper.  Last year Benchmade came out with the 490 flipper and it had a good response. Benchmade decided to take that platform and improve upon it and make it a real winner for 2018.  The knife is larger than the 490 and the blade shape has been upgraded to a nice sized spear point made of CPM-S30V.  The 490 was a little slippery and some users did not like how the knife was a little hard to hold on to.  The Vector has texturing on the wider handle which now allows for a secure grip and easy deployment.  The blade is as easy to deploy from either the right or left hand and the reversible deep carry pocket clip ensures it goes easily into the pocket you choose.

This knife is sure to be a solid winner and a must have.

Great EDC upgrade

Been carrying a Benchmade Griptilian for over 10 years and always wanted an assisted flipper. The spearpoint blade is extremely versatile and it feels good in the hand. Smooth action and solid lock up. More than happy with the Vector.

One of my favorites

I bought this knife when it was first released and have it has been my edc since. Feels great in hand. Blade is perfect for an edc blade and was extremely sharp from the factory. Definitely recommend this knife.

Handsome EDC

The new 495 Vector is a good looking knife. It feels great in the hand and has a smooth action. No blade play whatsoever. And, blade sits center when closed. No Benchmade QC issues here. A unique feature of this axis lock assisted flipper is if you accidentally turn the saftey on, you can still close the
blade. I would say I have average sized hands and the Vector feels comfortable and substantial. If you’re considering it, get it. You won’t regret it.
