Spyderco Native 5 Lightweight SPRINT - Brown FRN Handle / Satin Finish / CPM-15V Steel / Leaf Shaped Blade C41PBN15V5
Description:
Check out the new Native5 Lightweight knife series, which combines all of the Native5's engineering advancements with the weight-saving benefits of an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle.
This knife is produced in their factory in Golden, Colorado and is a proud creation. The knife boasts a spear point blade made from high-quality CPM-15V stainless steel and features a full-flat grind, distal taper, textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp, and understated swedge. These features offer a unique appearance and excellent edge geometry and point utility. The blade is supported by a back lock mechanism that is highly refined and takes this time-tested lock design to the next level of engineering and manufacturing excellence.
The linerless FRN handle features Bi-Directional Texturing for an ultra-secure grip and reduces the knife's weight to a scant 2.5 ounces. The handle also houses four sets of threaded inserts molded directly into the FRN. These allow the improved hourglass clip to be positioned for left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. There is also a generously sized lanyard hole that provides a handy attachment point for lanyards, fobs, and safety lines.
