The Microtech Dirac is brand new for 2019 and is a little different knife for Microtech. The Dirac is a little larger than the UTX-70 and a little smaller than the UTX-85. The button has been moved from the side to the top which makes it an ambidextrous knife. The action is smooth and simple.
This Dirac has black anodized handles and a bronzed apocalyptic finished blade and hardware.

The Dirac is about the perfect size for EDC! It’s not too small and not too big; about the size of a UTX85. Everything fits tight and functions smoothly. My particular example is in M390 which has excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and doesn’t really seem to chip easily. Microtech’s heat treatment on their blades is top notch! I highly recommend both the Dirac and Northwest Knives!
