The upswept blade combines the elegance of a traditional Japanese tanto with the dynamic point of an Americanized tanto, crafted from M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel. Its saber-ground primary bevel flows seamlessly into a flat grind at the faceted tip. Featuring an extended “tail” for one-handed opening, the COBOL's handle boasts solid titanium scales with integral spring arms and ball bearings that ensure secure blade positioning. Its design guarantees a safe grip, thanks to a generous choil and the ability to apply pressure on the blade’s tail. Completing the ambidextrous design is a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for left or right-side, tip-up carry. The COBOL is more than just a knife; it's a perfect blend of artistry and functionality.
