Spyderco’s Manix 2 XL is an enhanced version of the original Manix 2 design, offering a larger and more capable option. As part of the acclaimed Salt Series, it features an ultra-corrosion-resistant build. The broad, leaf-shaped blade is precision machined from CPM-MagnaCut, a state-of-the-art particle metallurgy steel that offers an impressive combination of toughness, edge retention, and extreme corrosion resistance.
Optimized for tactical use, the blade is saber ground and finished with a non-reflective black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, enhancing both its stealthy appearance and corrosion resistance. The blade is supported by a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock mechanism and housed within a handle that includes full skeletonized stainless steel liners. It is wrapped in peel-ply-textured black G10 scales and features a reversible tip-up pocket clip. All other hardware is also made from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and has low-profile black coatings.
