In a world where most out-the-front automatics are expensive and heavy, there is a demand for a lightweight and affordable OTF auto. Enter the 5370BK-03 Shootout.

This Black Class knife was designed with law enforcement and tactical personnel in mind. It is the perfect weak-hand backup for anyone concerned with gross motor deployment under stress.

The 5370BK-03 Shootout handles are grivory which increases rigidity and allows for reliable deployment. The molded grivory has a detailed texture that could not be milled into aluminum, Black PVD coated CPM-CruWear blades, Carbide glass breaker and a reversible clip. Made in the USA and stocked full of features and premium materials, the 5370FE Shootout packs a punch.

Great blade, but not for everybody.

I purchased this for my wife specifically because it was on sale for nearly half the MSRP. I wanted something that required simple muscle memory and consistent deployment, and considering that it stays in her purse, it is a perfect solution for her to have something on her person. I tried carrying it for a day, and I found that the aggressive texturing gripped my jeans so much that I had difficulty deploying it, much more than my other benchmades and microtech.

As far as an OTF, it's fantastic, and I can't beat the price I paid for my wife, but it definitely isn't a knife I would personally carry.
