Hard use and hardcore describes the Chris Reeve Pacific.  The Pacific is a solid slab of S35VN steel that has been milled perfectly for great balance.  The drop point design works well for slicing and for chopping both.  A perfectly fitted micarta handle is added to create a knife that fits well in the hand in any weather condition.

This Pacific has a FDE blade with plain edge.  It comes with a Combat Master Spec Ops sheath.

Now that I own one of these knives, I can understand why the military has a contract for them. I find this knife to be very well designed, for its use and the quality of the blade is as good as it gets for holding a very fine edge. When I spent my time in the service, there is no doubt, that I would rather have had one of these blades, than the one I was issued. Not that I'm disrespecting the Ka-Bar that was issued to me. It also has stood the test of time, through many encounters, for its use. But this Chris Reeve, Pacific 7" Fixed Blade, is a blade that will serve you very well, as a top quality knife. I am very proud to own one of Chris Reeve's knives, especially this model.
