The Microtech UTX-70 is rarest OTF to get in the store. The 70 stands for 70% of the size of the regular Ultratech. This size reduction makes this a "cute" little knife that comes in a variety of blades and colors.
UTX-70's are a double action knife which means that the blade deploys when pushing forward on the lever and retracts when pulling back.
This UTX-70 is a Tactical version which has black anodized handles with a black double edge blade with all black hardware.

I purchased the Microtech UTX 70 without really thinking 🤦🏻♂️. I love the look and the fine craftsmanship but immediately put my order for the larger Ultratech. Super light and impressive quality. My only problem is that when I ordered through Northwestern knives- it should’ve been checked for quality control- I had a bad glass breaker. Now I have to send it back to Microtech 🤦🏻♂️.
